Young players from Pontypridd district were last week given a taste of quality coaching by Ex wales and Pontypridd back row star Geraint Lewis . Boys from the under 12's and 13's took part in the masterclass based on back row play and decision making .
Geraint who won 16 caps for Wales and Played during the world cup of 1999 passed on his knowledge to an excited group at a recent district training session at Cardinal Newman school .
All the coaches agreed that the session was a sucess and a wonderfull oppurtunity for the boys to develop their skills under the watchfull eye of the Pontypridd Star . Geraint added " they were a talented bunch to be fair and suprised me how well they picked things up " .
